![]() Wear comfortable shoes (boots or sneakers) and don’t do anything to ruin the experience for others, like talking. In fact, I would recommend splitting up from your partner altogether inside the venue. If you go, don’t be that annoying person blocking the passageways, pushing to the front or holding hands with your partner and blocking people. I was not expecting this kind of reaction. The set design is super cool and a few times I found myself wandering into very creepy/scary spaces by myself and just thinking “what the actual f**k”. ![]() These are very intense immersive experiences and if a performer makes eye contact with you or takes your hand then do not shy away from them. The highlight for me was having not one, but two ‘one on ones’ with actors where they took me into private rooms alone with them to act out a scene. If you’re on the fence about this, I would give it a huge yes! I wanted to go a second time but didn’t really work out time wise. Don’t expect to walk away thinking you’ve seen a play with 2 hours of dialogue. There are 3 loops each performance of the same scenes and you should try and follow different characters each loop to get the most plot. If you are familiar with Macbeth and understand which characters you’re following then it mostly makes sense. Is there a lack of plot? Depends on how you look at it. ![]() I guess it depends on the crowd that night. I tried to mind myself, not push anyone or block people’s views and still managed to be at or near the front when I wanted to be. Occasionally it’s annoying trying to follow actors who are flying up/down stairs and people are blocking the way. People were generally not too rude or pushy. The main complaints seem to be crowding and lack of plot. We were a little unsure whether to go after reading some mixed reviews on TripAdvisor. I finally attended SNM the other day and loved it!! This is a fantastic experience, I won’t even begin to try and describe the whole thing but suffice to say it’s a combination of performance, incredible set design and immersion, all located in a multi-storey former warehouse (and nightclub) in Chelsea. Warning - minor non-plot spoilers in this review. As always, I am hoping to come back again! Wear comfortable shoes, contacts if you normally wear glasses, and wear something light because it is hot in there (even in winter)! Enter with an open mind and you will have a truly unforgettable night. Last time, the matron watched the finale with me, held my hand, and kissed me on the cheek. We have had personal or one-on-one experiences every time, and it’s always different. Explore the floors on your own and you never know who or what you will find. Do what feels right because as they say “fortune favors the bold.” Just because there are 50+ people following Macbeth from floor to floor doesn’t mean you need to run after him too. It’s insane! Yes the story line is hard to follow, but that’s the fun of it! Follow your intuition and choose your own adventure. The dancing is incredible! I saw a man literally spin on his head and another man Spider-Man climb up to the ceiling and drop down. It felt like deja vu, or remembering a fuzzy dream! I also saw multiple scenes I hadn’t seen before. I can’t say enough about Sleep No More! My sister and I have now been 5 times- 2012, 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2020- we always have vastly different experiences from each other and we always see something new! After going so many times, most recently I stumbled upon a scene that I hadn’t seen since my first visit.
