At its core, Die Young is a survival sim with horror elements. With that out the way, Die Young is easily one of the best survival horror games I have played, and I use the term “survival horror” loosely. As a means to an end, they work to lay the groundwork for much of the story, but they do feel very cheesy in their delivery. Luckily these animated cutscenes are rare, popping up whenever you find a Shelter and choose to Rest. As far as game openings go – and overlooking the whole animated soap opera intro – DIe Young throws you in at the deep end and I have to be honest – I was hooked.ĭie Young is a great Survival Horror RPG that gets so much of what it attempts right, it is easy to forgive what feels like a slight misstep in how the story is set up in cutscenes, which is really the games weakest link. For another, you have woken up separated from your friends with nothing to aid you but your wits and a hand-drawn map left by a mysterious stranger. Waking up inside a well, it is apparent from the onset that things have gone sideways – for one, you’re in a well. Luckily, the game lands solidly in the survival horror genre. Doing so didn’t really do anything other than confuse me, purely because the trailer I watched makes the game look like a mash-up between a daytime soap opera and a survival horror, so starting the game for the first time, I didn’t know what to expect. Having never heard of it before it landed on my desk for review, I quickly fired up the trailer to see what I was in for. Die Young was one of those rare games that completely blindsided me.

Wear comfortable shoes (boots or sneakers) and don’t do anything to ruin the experience for others, like talking. In fact, I would recommend splitting up from your partner altogether inside the venue. If you go, don’t be that annoying person blocking the passageways, pushing to the front or holding hands with your partner and blocking people. I was not expecting this kind of reaction. The set design is super cool and a few times I found myself wandering into very creepy/scary spaces by myself and just thinking “what the actual f**k”. These are very intense immersive experiences and if a performer makes eye contact with you or takes your hand then do not shy away from them. The highlight for me was having not one, but two ‘one on ones’ with actors where they took me into private rooms alone with them to act out a scene. If you’re on the fence about this, I would give it a huge yes! I wanted to go a second time but didn’t really work out time wise. Don’t expect to walk away thinking you’ve seen a play with 2 hours of dialogue. There are 3 loops each performance of the same scenes and you should try and follow different characters each loop to get the most plot. If you are familiar with Macbeth and understand which characters you’re following then it mostly makes sense. Is there a lack of plot? Depends on how you look at it. I guess it depends on the crowd that night. I tried to mind myself, not push anyone or block people’s views and still managed to be at or near the front when I wanted to be. Occasionally it’s annoying trying to follow actors who are flying up/down stairs and people are blocking the way. People were generally not too rude or pushy. The main complaints seem to be crowding and lack of plot. We were a little unsure whether to go after reading some mixed reviews on TripAdvisor. I finally attended SNM the other day and loved it!! This is a fantastic experience, I won’t even begin to try and describe the whole thing but suffice to say it’s a combination of performance, incredible set design and immersion, all located in a multi-storey former warehouse (and nightclub) in Chelsea. Warning - minor non-plot spoilers in this review. As always, I am hoping to come back again! Wear comfortable shoes, contacts if you normally wear glasses, and wear something light because it is hot in there (even in winter)! Enter with an open mind and you will have a truly unforgettable night. Last time, the matron watched the finale with me, held my hand, and kissed me on the cheek. We have had personal or one-on-one experiences every time, and it’s always different. Explore the floors on your own and you never know who or what you will find. Do what feels right because as they say “fortune favors the bold.” Just because there are 50+ people following Macbeth from floor to floor doesn’t mean you need to run after him too. It’s insane! Yes the story line is hard to follow, but that’s the fun of it! Follow your intuition and choose your own adventure. The dancing is incredible! I saw a man literally spin on his head and another man Spider-Man climb up to the ceiling and drop down. It felt like deja vu, or remembering a fuzzy dream! I also saw multiple scenes I hadn’t seen before. I can’t say enough about Sleep No More! My sister and I have now been 5 times- 2012, 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2020- we always have vastly different experiences from each other and we always see something new! The Moon can also look reddish because Earth’s atmosphere absorbs the other colors while it bends some sunlight toward the Moon. That means that during the night, a full moon fades away as Earth’s shadow covers it up. An annular eclipse is when the Sun appears as a bright ring outside the darkened circle. During a lunar eclipse, Earth gets in the way of the Sun’s light hitting the Moon. A total solar eclipse, as the name suggests, is when the Sun is completely blocked by the moon, only a faint corona radiating out from the eclipse and a partial eclipse is when the Sun is only partially blocked by the Moon. What is a total lunar eclipse During a total. Solar eclipses are of different types too. Conversely, a solar eclipse happens when the Moon and Sun line up so that the Moons shadow falls on the Earth. A horizontal eclipse is when the Sun and the eclipsed moon can be seen together at the juncture of sunrise and sunset. Similarly, during a total eclipse, the moon lies totally in the umbra and completely obscured by the Earth. A partial eclipse is seen when part of the moon enters the umbra, which is the darkest shadow of the Earth where there is no radiation from the Sun. In this case the moon appears darker in some areas than others. Partial solar eclipses occur about as often as lunar eclipses, around two a year. Penumbral eclipses happen when the moon happens to fall into the penumbral shadow of the Earth, which is the outer shadow of the Earth. A total solar eclipse is when the moon passes in front of the sun and completely blocks its light, while a partial solar eclipse is when only part of the moon passes in front of the sun. Lunar eclipses are of four types - penumbral, partial or horizontal. The moon will lie 62 degrees above the horizon at the moment of greatest eclipse, in-the-sky further said. The type and extent to which the eclipse occurs can vary. Half of the Earth can experience a lunar eclipse at one time, but the shadow of a solar eclipse only covers an area with a width of 274 km (at most), which equates to around 0.01 of Earth’s total surface area. The website said that it will be visible from New Delhi in the south-western sky. The first pair of eclipses in 2024 are on March 24-25 (penumbral lunar eclipse) and April 8 (total solar eclipse). In contrast, a total solar eclipse occurs around once every 18 months and is experienced by far fewer people. Spiritually, solar eclipses tend to be more exciting, friendly and joyous, as we embark on a vibrant new path and pursue fresh horizons. The good thing about all types of lunar eclipse is that, unlike a solar eclipse, they are safe to view with the naked eye. has prepared a path where the lunar eclipse will be visible. A solar eclipse made an appearance in June 2021. Will the lunar eclipse be visible in India? Total eclipse begins - Earth's umbra completely covers the Moon and the Moon becomes red, brown, or yellow in color. Partial eclipse begins - Earth's umbra starts covering the Moon, making the eclipse more visible. Unlike solar eclipses, watching the moon being shadowed by the Earth with naked eyes is perfectly safe. The 7 Stages of a Total Lunar Eclipse: Penumbral eclipse begins - Earth's shadow starts moving over the Moon. This will be the second lunar eclipse of the year after a penumbral lunar eclipse on May 5. The celestial event will begin at 3.36 pm EDT (1.06 am IST on October 29) and end at 4.53 pm EDT (2.23 am IST on October 29). A lunar eclipse takes place during the full moon phases, when the Earth is positioned precisely between the moon and the Sun. During an eclipse the Earth blocks sunlight from reaching the Moon. According to, it will be visible over parts of Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, North America, North/East South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Arctic and Antarctica. When the Sun, Earth, and Moon, are precisely aligned, a lunar eclipse will occur. The lunar eclipse will occur on October 28, two weeks after the solar eclipse. Lunar eclipses occur when the Moon passes within Earth’s umbral shadow, which is its darkest shadow. This creates an eclipse because the Moon casts a shadow on Earth. Solar eclipses occur when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun. When the Moon passes through the outer part of Earth’s shadowthe penumbra, where the light of the Sun is only partly extinguishedthe Moon dims only. Here’s a look at the key differences between solar and lunar eclipses: 1. In a lunar eclipse, the Moon moves into the shadow of Earth cast by the Sun. After the annular solar eclipse on October 14, the moon will appear partially blocked in the night sky. An eclipse happens when one astronomical body blocks light from or to another. Earth will experience two eclipses this month. Russi will be sorely missed and our hearts go out to her family and friends, along with our deepest condolences." We are going to study how a thermometer measures temperature and discuss how this relates to our body's immune system. It is important for engineers to design devices that will help our immune system maintain a safe temperature in our body and still kill harmful bacteria and viruses. Other engineers help design systems to keep the air we breathe and the water we drink healthy, and yet others develop the instruments to monitor our health at the hospital or doctor's office. Engineers also help develop the vaccinations, antibiotics and disinfectants to help kill germs before they can invade your body. In fact, engineers have developed many of the instruments that help doctors diagnose and treat diseases. Today engineers have developed machines that calibrate thermometers while they are being made.Įngineers need to know about the immune system and how it works. Then, the thermometer was placed in boiling water and that temperature was marked. The very first thermometer was calibrated by sticking it in freezing water and marking where the fluid was. Degrees are the units of temperature similar to how meters are units of length. The final step is calibrating the thermometer (dividing the tube into degrees, either Fahrenheit or Celsius). The interior mercury tube has a bulb at the end of it that is placed on an object to obtain its temperature (that is, under your tongue if you are sick and want to know your temperature). To see the liquid shrinking or expanding, the mercury is placed in a narrow tube (contained inside a wider-diameter glass tube) to magnify the changes that occur. Mercury is the most common fluid used due to its low freezing point, and high boiling point. So how does a thermometer know how hot your body really is (that is, your temperature)? Bulb thermometers contain a type of fluid that changes volume relative to its temperature: heat makes the fluid expand (take up more space), while the cold makes it shrink (take up less space). To check if your body has a fever, your parents or a medical practitioner uses a thermometer. However, if a fever is too high, it can cause physical damage or even death, so often it is necessary to reduce a fever by using cooling baths, cloths or packs, or medications. By raising your body's temperature, certain bacteria and viruses that are sensitive to temperature changes are destroyed (killed by the higher than normal temperature). Fevers are thought to be one way that the immune system defends itself against germs and infection. When your body temperature rises, it is called a fever. Have you ever wondered why your parents take your temperature to see if you are sick? They are checking to see if your body is hotter than it should be (98.6☏ is considered normal). The Best Invoicing Software Solutions With Integrated Time Tracking A complete overview of your invoice status: After generating, dispatching, and receiving payments, the billing software drafts an overview that briefs you on your invoicing status. You can also set up your software to dispatch timely reminders, especially to clients that have a history of late payments A timesheet invoicing software can allow you to set deadlines that’ll automatically push outstanding invoices to the ‘overdue’ category. Deal with outstanding invoices more efficiently: Invoicing comes with a notorious reputation of delayed clearance. You’ll be required to make a click to dispatch these automatically generated invoices Automate the entire billing process: Through this integration, you can automate every bit of the invoice generating process month-over-month. Integrating the two software will bring multiple benefits. How Invoicing Software Can Reduce Manual Tracking And Input You can track the progress of your staff along with how much time they’re investing During COVID, when most employees are reduced to remote working, the time tracking software can be an efficient employee tracking device. It’ll then set up your invoice by multiplying the hours by the hourly rate After compiling the hours, the data automatically flows to the invoicing software. Using a time tracking software can effectively shoulder this burden on your behalf. The amount of paperwork work involved in setting up all these invoices is daunting enough to make you want to procrastinate Let’s suppose you’re required to dispatch invoices to 30 different customers at the end-of-the-month.Popular time tracking software such as Toggl lends itself easily for integration with Scoro’s quick and efficient invoicingĮxamples Of The Interaction Between Time Tracking And BillingĬonsider the following two scenarios to help understand how you can benefit from timesheet software.Additionally, they allow users to access relevant data and generate invoices in the same spot Luckily, many billing tools easily integrate with time tracking software.Synchronizing your time tracking with billing allows you to compile and dispatch invoices based on automated data flow from one software to another. While it doesn’t require much to incorporate time tracking software, you must first set up a digital invoicing system that can integrate with the tracking software to initiate t-sheets invoicing. How Does Time Tracking Relate To Invoicing Time tracking and invoicing provide you with a centralized on-the-go model to keep on top of project management rates with instant access. Let’s not forget the laborious drudgery that comes from having to manually enter data. Around 88% of spreadsheets are prone to contain some kind of data-entry error. Using excel spreadsheets is another way to compile billable hours. In an age where time equates to money, this method of billing costs you in more ways than one. Compiling results from timesheets can cost your accounting team an entire day of paper-based work. While there may be nothing inherently wrong with this procedure, there’s one major drawback. Traditionally, companies rely on timesheets to track these billable hours. Most freelancers, entrepreneurs, and small business owners consider the billable hours as the standard charging method. There are very few businesses aware of the immense scalability opportunities that simple software like these can provide them. Unfortunately, time tracking applications have been undervalued for a long time. Based on this data, companies can then bill their services accordingly. Time tracking and invoicing software allow companies to keep tabs on the time they spend on a project. It’s a solid piece that’s part of the mold with much more detail. Outside of the cockpit, the battery compartment lid is no longer glued in place. Lastly the targeting computer is present and extends from the back of the cockpit just as in the movie. The flight console is removable to assist with seating the pilot (still takes some effort) and feature the flight stick. The seat has paint apps and is surrounded by sculpted hoses. The new cockpit feels like a functional cockpit. On the gen one X-Wing, you basically had a plastic seat with no flight controls. In addition to the subtle added and sharper mold details, there are functional updates. The only pieces that seem to be reused without any changes are the engine portion of the wings. This “same but also new” pattern applies to the wings which have sharper and added details. The dimensions are the same, but all of the sculpted details are different and sharper. I believe Hasbro has a process where they cast from an original mold and then make updates as we have seen with many of the vintage molds that are used for modern vehicles. So much of the detailing is new that you want to say this is “all new”, but the dimensions are so exact to the first generation (both exactly 17 7/8” long) that it can’t be new from the ground up. The fuselage has many subtle and significant differences. The sculpt is somewhere between retool and “all new”. This alone marks a significant upgrade, but pale in comparison to the upgrades to the sculpt itself. In comparison to my Red 2, they are also much sharper and precise along the borders. Most of the paint apps on this X-Wing are distressed giving the toy a genuine Star Wars “used” universe look. Usually you sacrifice one in order to get the other. The paint apps on the new version are both more numerous and more detailed. The upgrades between the fist gen and second gen can be summed up in one word: significant. The aforementioned Death Star Trench Run Red 5 was the first of the second gen X-Wings and this Red 3 X-Wing is the second. Other released first gen Red Squadron X-Wings include Red Leader’s X-Wing and Luke’s Red 5 (multiple releases). That was the first generation of the larger scaled X-Wings based on the Power F/X X-Wing. The only other such X-Wing I own is the Target Exclusive Wedge Antilles’ X-Wing Starfighter set from 2009’s Legacy Collection. This X-Wing is painted with the Red 3 call-sign on the wings designating Biggs Darklighter’s X-Wing from the Battle of Yavin.Īll of the larger scaled X-Wings are retools of the 1998 Power F/X X-Wing. Based on the pictures taken by my “co-worker”, this appears to be a repaint of that X-Wing. Because I tired of accumulating things I decidedly did not want just to get one item I did want, I do not own the Red 5 X-wing released in 2011’s Death Star Trench Run set. I don’t get thrilled writing reviews for what are essentially repaints because I don’t think there’s a lot new I could tell you. Vox described the Standard tremolo unit as having a roller bearing for smooth action. The 1962 Vox Phantom I and Phantom II were equipped with the Vox "Standard" Tremolo unit. Even though Vox claimed these individual switches enhanced the frequency response of the Phantom II, it was the three position rotary pickup selector switch from the Phantom I that was incorporated into all later Phantom guitar production. While the Phantom I guitar was equipped with a three position rotary pickup selector, the Phantom II featured three on/off slide switches, one for each pickup. single coil pickups with "bar type" magnets and chrome covers. Like most of the other models in the 1962 Vox range, the Phantom I and Phantom II guitars were equipped with Vox V.1. Like the Stratocaster, the Phantom I and II had three single coil pickups, a three position pickup selector, a vibrato arm, a bolt on neck and a contoured back. It is reasonable to assume that the popularity of the Fender Stratocaster in the UK would encourage Vox to incorporate "Strat" like features into the design of the Phantom. These instruments featured a satin black polyester finish and were assembled at JMI in the UK using bodies, necks and hardware purchased from various outside suppliers. JMI introduced two Phantom guitars, the "Phantom I" and "Phantom II" plus the Phantom Bass in the 1962 Vox catalog. The Vox Phantom I and Vox Phantom II - UK Production 1962-63 Either way, it was through these efforts that the legendary, "coffin shaped" Vox Phantom guitar body shape was born. Others claim that the design for this proposed "top of the line" Vox guitar was drafted in-house at JMI. In his 1991 book, "The Vox Story," JMI lead engineer Dick Denney reported that JMI entered into a contract with the London Design Centre in 1962 to suggest a unique body profile that would be developed into a new pro-quality guitar model. It was decided that this new deluxe guitar model should feature a body shape that would be unique, iconic and immediately recognizable as a Vox instrument. Vox then moved on to design a professional grade guitar. Vox would not be likely to attract the professional musician with these models. These early Vox models had inexpensive ferrite "bar magnet" pickups and necks that lacked an adjustable neck truss rod. The body shapes of these early Vox guitars resembled those from Fender in America. Click here to see a JMI magazine ad from 1961 featuring some of these early Vox guitar models. Others featured bodies and necks manufactured for Vox by Stuart Darkins Ltd, a UK furniture maker. Vox entered the guitar market in 19 with a series of student grade instruments with names such as the "Stroller" and "Clubman." Some of these earliest guitars were built for Vox by Guyatone in Japan. Excellent + Condition.V209 Vox Phantom Guitar - Made for Vox by Eko, Recanati Italy - 1965 Really an excellent-playing and sounding guitar that retains a lot of the character of the UK-made '60s original. It is basically just one small chip on the bottom edge, as well as a bit of scraping to the pickguard under the bridge adjustment wheels, away from unused near mint condition. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. (26.7 cm.) across at the widest point, and 1 3/4 in. A neat guitar part of a very limited run and very rare, especially in this color. This one is a particularly attractive Sonic blue finish, the rarest of the original '60s Vox UK colors. These were custom tooled to a high degree of fidelity to the originals, the main differences being a 5-way pickup selector, Bigsby vibrato and heavier Gotoh bridge. This very fine re-issue of the classic 1960s Vox Phantom is one of a very limited line marketed between 19 by Korg (owner of the Vox marque) and North Coast music of Minneapolis in the US. 2000, made in USA, serial # 00215340, blue lacquer finish, hardwood body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, original black rigid foam case.
